In middle school, I had to poop, so I faked being sick so I could be sent home, but apparently the school nurse, my mom, and my pediatrician all thought I had an appendicitis. I went to two different hospitals, and at the second one they almost performed surgery because they couldn’t find my appendix on the ultrasound. They ended up sending me home and told me to come back tomorrow if the “stomach pain” I complained about didn’t resolve itself.
